Offer him two different decorated dog treats and see which one he chooses. Maybe he has a color preference.
Use dog treat icing like Fido's Frosting brand Royal Icing for Dogs and your dog biscuits will stand out and have them begging for more, like these gorgeous treats made by Bone Appetit dog bakery in Sandwich, Illinois:
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Place entire contents of package into mixing bowl. Add the oil, egg, and water. Mix well.
Pour
into the cupcake liners and fill 2/3 of the way. Bake cupcakes 15-18
minutes (depending on oven). Poke a toothpick into the middle of the
cupcakes - if it comes out clean, cupcakes are done. (Suggestion: check
them all to make sure!)
Let cool.
When cool, cover the cupcakes with frosting. Do not prepare the frosting until ready to use it so it doesn't dry and set.
For
easy frosting, use 1 package Fido's Frosting cream cheese frosting.
(Just add water, stir and frost.) Mix in the cinnamon for extra flavor.
Let set.
When the frosting is firm, use the 3D colored writers
and draw an outline of a pumpkin on top of each cupcake. Fill in the
pumpkin design with edible orange glitter.
For
pumpkin dog treats, add 1/2 cup canned pumpkin to the dog cake mix and
other ingredients above. Make sure it is 100% natural pumpkin and not
the pumpkin pie filling!
Pumpkin is beneficial for pets. Its
high fiber content can help with both constipation and diarrhea. Consult
your veterinarian if this is an ongoing problem for your dog.
FDA approved, use in oven, microwave, freezer, dishwasher.
