Dog Treats and Crystals
by: K9DogTreats.com

The type of dog treats that would be best depends on the type of crystals the dog suffers from. The two most common urinary crystals seem to be calcium oxalate which are more likely to cause blockages and struvite crystals which are more readily dissolvable in an acidic urine.

Please find out from your vet which type of crystal your dog has. Always check with your vet before giving your dog any treats to make sure they are OK.

We have articles available on this site geared towards treat recommendations for both kinds under the left-sided menu heading "Dog Bladder Stones."
