I have a mini schnauzer, 3yrs old and has had 2 surgeries for calcium oxalate stones. This last surgery was emergency as a stone was caught in his uretha. He's too young to have life long surgeries and we are now starting him on Potassium Citrate mixed in his food. His diet is Royal Canin, urinary SO moderate, 1/4c wet and 1/4c dry mixed with Chicken Broth. My question is: what treats can a dog with this issue have? Poor thing is a healthy 24 pounds and eats this food day after day.....what can I give him besides the SO food?
